The three “legs” of Chalkidiki are Kasssandra, Sithonia, and Mount Athos. Three large peninsulas reaching deep into the sea, with the first two “offered” generously to the public. The third “leg”, the renowned Mount Athos, is not so easily accessible, with women in particular being forbidden to enter.
As a location, Chalkidiki has it all; Rare waters, pine forests, archeological sites, and a multitude of picturesque villages.
Its uniqueness is owed to its numerous, amazingly beautiful beaches. Some are hidden from view, some visible among the pines, all awaiting to be discovered.
Well-made, organized house complexes and comfortable summer houses make up the choices one has to visit or settle in the area. Its proximity to Thessaloniki has made Chalkidiki a very popular destination for city residents but also hosts many Greek and international visitors during the summer months. Many of them choose to purchase their little part of Chalkidiki, making demand ever greater.
