Ithaca, famous worldwide as the mythical island of Odysseus, is a very remote and quiet island. A destination preferred by families, couples and visitors who seek tranquil holidays. Beautiful crystal clear waters in shades of blue and green, secluded coves, pretty villages in green settings, many trekking paths and diverse tavernas offering fresh fish and tasty local dishes.
There are only ferries departing from Kilini in western Peloponese to Kefalonia and then you continue by boat to Ithaca, a trip of approximately 1 hour and 55 minutes. There is no airport on the island but you can fly to Kefalonia and travel by ferry thereafter.
