Limnos is an incredible island situated between Lesvos and Thassos. Its large distance from Athens has protected it from mass tourism and it is certainly one of Greece’s best-kept secret. Even in peak season, its large sandy beaches remain isolated. It is worth visiting all year round.

It is an ideal destination for surfing, wind surfing and kite surfing because it has stable winds during the entire summer period. The island is also in possession of unique ecosystems and offers its visitors rugged landscapes, cascading waterfalls, sea caves and spectacular beaches.

It is quite far to reach.  By plane from Athens it takes about 4 hours, which is mostly preferred by tourists, and approximately 10 hours by ship and ferry boats.
