Vouliagmeni

Vouliagmeni is a coastal area just 25 km away from the center of Athens, sparsely populated, with nice apartments and luxurious houses. Not too many years ago, it was principally considered a holiday resort and, as a result, large hotel complexes were developed. 

To date, most residents have chosen to live there permanently. It is a purely residential area recognized for its high property rates. 

The highlight is definitely the beautiful extended shoreline with the picturesque peninsulas of Kavouri and Lemos Vouliagmenis. Its name derives from the famous Lake of Vouliagmeni.

Particularity: Pure holiday feeling for residents and visitors. A small, well structured area for people who love the sea and who have chosen to live in a very calm pace, with a high quality of life. It is a very green vicinity with sizeable streets, offering tranquility and beautiful beaches.

Transportation: Vouliagmeni can be reached by various bus lines and the National Bus Line KTEL.

Market: Vouliagmeni is not known for its market, however, the residents can find everything for their daily needs and if anything additional is required, they simply visit the neighbor area of Glyfada.

Average property purchase/rental rates: The market ranges from EUROS 1,500 up to 50,000 per square meter and from EUROS 8.00 to 50.00 per square meter and is heavily influenced by the location of the properties and the view they provide.

Culture/Entertainment: A small number of a variety of restaurants, famous cafés and pastry shops, a few prominent bars.
